Côte d’Azur Nice Day Trip

A day trip to Nice, the capital of the Côte d’Azur, on the south-eastern coast of France, is welcome anytime, in any season, because the sun is up in most of the year – shines about 300 days a year!

How to get from Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport to the city centre

From Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport, to get to the center of Nice or to the Nice railway station you have 2 ways: either the express lines 98 and 99 (€ 6) or the cheaper version – bus 23 (€ 1.50).

Nice Airport is close to the center, so within minutes you will arrive. I recommend you take out the 1 day Pass or 7 day Pass (depending how longer you will stay). You can purchase it right from the Nice airport, so you’ll save a lot, because a Solo ticket costs 1.50 Euros( allowing changes within 74 min, which is great!)

Nice and Promenade des Anglais

Nice is closely related to the Promenade des Anglais, the famous boulevard that starts right from the Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport, crossing far and wide the entire French Riviera. Along the promenade are lined up expensive hotels, enchanting shops, terraces, restaurants, palm trees and the whole area is animated by people who run, walk or ride a bike. It’s such a pleasant way to spend your time…walking and admiring. 🙂

On the other side you will see the beach and the sea, where tables are beautifully arranged, so you can enjoy a coffee, or relax on the beach with a glass of wine and croissants … plus the person(s) you love. In supermarkets you’ll find lots of wines at good prices, so you have no reason to postpone the time. A few meters above the beach, you can sit on one of the benches and enjoy an ice cream or read a book.
