Vallorcine is a French little mountain village where I arrived this spring and I was impressed by the tranquility and beauty that characterizes this rural area.
In Vallorcine, the outdoors walks are in great demand, the village is blessed with absolutely gorgeous hiking trails. Basically, Vallorcine is the last village in the Chamonix Valley, nestled just behind the col des Montets’s, at the foot of the Aiguilles Rouges, and is known as the ”valley of the bears”. Surrounded by mountains and near the border with Switzerland, Vallorcine can be the starting point of a genuine randonnee.
Whether you choose a nice stroll or mountain biking, hiking, fishing, climbing or skiing in winter, Valloricine offers that welcome breath of fresh air that you need. You’re in the middle of nature and it never ceases to surprise you with its pure beauty. Enjoy!
