Haiku Stairs are located in Oahu, Hawaii. It’s called ‘’Stairway to Heaven’’ with 3,922 steps, located at an altitude of over 2,800 meters, in the Ko’olau mountains, covered with lush vegetation.
Although the route is forbidden to tourists, they do not respect that and experience the route, even if the wood stairs, made in 1924, are damaged. It was created to facilitate the installation of an antenna in 1942.Over time, the stairs were rebuilt with galvanized steel, but the route can be quite dangerous.
