Positano – Amalfi Coast

Positano is a village on the Amalfi Coast, located in the south-west of Italy, near Naples, representing one of the most important and beautiful tourist destinations of Italy.

In Positano there is a hotel in the top 10 – the most beautiful hotels in the world – Le Sirene, which offers views to the sea and city, whit its lemon and orange trees on the terrace.

Positano is famous for limoncello (lemon liqueur prepared here), and for L’Albertissimo (an alcoholic drink that is found only in the port).

The way to Positano is breathtaking, landscapes are spectacular and the colours of the houses, the elegant restaurants and beautiful beach will bring you back year after year.

In Positano are two beaches: Fornillo, which is a small and isolated beach, accessible from the stairs of the grotto, above or from Spiaggiata Grande, being an island away from the ferries traffic. The second one is called Spiaggiata Grande, which is the main beach and the ferry port.

The climate is Mediterranean, summer temperatures are between 22 and 28 degrees, being quite warm.
